Second piece in my planetary hobnail series.
For Mars, I started the piece during the first planetary hour of Tuesday (the day of Mars), so the energy of the planet could infuse the work from the very beginning.
I used rust and ruby shades to represent the firey aspects of the deity. I used a shimmering metallic silver color for the associations with the metal iron. The hobnails are made with a clear and a ruby red layer to symbolize blood which is associated with Mars. I hope this one will help bring courage and motivation to the owner.
